The first floor of Kingsmead Leisure centre now has a 175 seat restaurant available to rent due to Frankie and Bennys closing down.
Frankie and Bennys
Sadly many staff working at Frankie and Benny’s have found themselves without a job. There was hardly any notice to the people of Bath for the closure of the restaurant but several stores have been closing down as Frankie and Benny’s attempts to cut costs in a challenging market. There are many restaurants hitting hard times in the news recently and no city is immune.
The now vacant restaurant location is just outside the exit of the Odeon cinema on the first floor and opposite Nando’s. With seating inside and some space outside the front of the restaurant, there is plenty of space for diners to enjoy a great pre or post movie meal.
Nearest Frankie and Bennys
So where do you have to go to find your nearest Frankie and Bennys restaurant? You have a choice of either Longwell Green which is just 7.5 miles away or you can visit Trowbridge for a slightly longer 8 mile trip.
Who will take over?
With such a large space available it is quite likely that a new restaurant chain will take over the location from Frankie and Benny’s. With the recent closure of KFC it is possible that they could be looking at this venue although highly unlikely. Whilst the opportunity for a brand new independent restaurant is available a 175 seat space is a big space to fill.
